Official Love Day

I wish everyday was a day where we were officially supposed to show our love for the special people in our lives. Matt gave me the prettiest bouquet-full of so many different flowers!  MyGirl gave me a very impressive painting that I know she spent a lot of time on.  MyBoy didn't even know it was Valentine's day...but he enjoyed getting treats from me.  I made Matt a card with some pretty cheeky poetry in it.  Here is a sample:

Well, you get the idea.  We made the obligatory fondue, drank a great bottle of South African wine, and sat in front of a roaring fire.  I still feel loved...little V-day love hangover going on here.

This is the best V-Day ever.  As you know, Matt got me a puppy!  I have been asking for one for ages, and he couldn't have picked a better time to give in.  Every time I look at this cute pup, it is a surprise all over again. 

Tonight we are going to make fondue; steak and fancy cheese.  And of course have some red wine.  And enjoy each other's company.  He is my favorite man, he completes me.  I love having an excuse to celebrate that!

It is so nice to find myself happily in love, to have let go enough to find this.  It has not been an easy thing for me to do.

Every day I work to let go a little bit more, and let Matt into my world, my heart.  I work towards allowing our love to be big, to grow stronger than anything I have ever known, or could even imagine.  

He shows me that is possible, and I let him love me.  I let love in.

People can be so sweet!  I got the most wonderful orders for hand stamped rings over the last week and a half.  Here are a few of the requests people wanted stamped on rings for their loved ones:

My hands are a bit sore from sanding and filing.  But I've taken up some weights to compensate.  I just love making these little rings.

I actually kind of like Valentine's Day.  It is never a bad thing to have an excuse for a date night, which I'm hoping will include some decadent chocolate desert, a nice red wine, and some sinfully good food (possibly in that order).
