Things I've Missed

I must admit, I missed my stuff...which had been stored away for the last two+ months while I lived in the most unstimulating of places, Oklahoma....the visionary in me slowly shrivelling up from the boring decor of our dully furnished corporate housing situation.  Unpacking is like opening the pandora's box of everything "me".  There is something so comforting about being surrounded by your own stuff.

I got the Boot

Can't stay in cowboy country and not bring home a new pair of boots! And these are sure something. 

Corral Vintage Boots

This pair is my favorite of all my boots (even my Old Gringos), and not just because they're brand spankin' new.  These are 13" tall Corral boots from Corral's Vintage line.  Rust colored stitching follows a funky flower/star inlay of distressed black on rusty cognac/tan leather.  The 2 1/2 inch heel feels bad-ass and feminine all at the same time.

It was especially fun to walk through Sheplers, a western store here in Oklahoma City and touch/feel/try on lots of pretty boots.  Hundreds and hundreds of boots lined the shelves.  It was boot heaven...and I brought home the prettiest pair.

I love 'You Rebel' because it has SPF 15, moisturizer and tint all in one, perfect for my laxed beauty habits.


'Dandelion' is a super natural choice for a blush; pale, pink, and pretty.

Starburst Wrapper Bracelet = Adorable

Check!  I've always wanted to learn how to do this, since I was probably 6.  Thanks to MyGirl, we bought a big bag of tropical starbursts after we checked out this awesome tutorial.  Oh how girly.

Getting Girly (or...what's in my bathroom)

Daily Routine Treats

With Winter almost on the way out, what better time to feel fresh and lovely?  And what better way to inspire Spring to get it's cute ass out here then spa-ing it up in the bathroom?


Here's what's in my bathroom...in my quest to balance the girly in me with the hippy at heart.

Jason Essential Tea Tree Oil Natural Body Wash~  the invigorating smell of tea tree is oh so 'good-morning-ish'. 


Neutrogena Sesame Body Oil~  for shining up those tattoos and feeling pretty!


USPA Facial Moisturizer~  though it's made for a man, this subtly musky scented moisturizer makes my cheeks soft and girly. It's full of organics and australian!


Hara Juku Fragrance~  you'd end up with this fragrance if you took my old standby vanilla patchouli, toned it WAY down and added a hint of ladylike sweetness.  The adorable bottle is irresistible.


Desert Essence~  ahh, this has been on Co-op shelves forever, and still gives the same tea tree and sage feel of deep clean.  Makes me love washing my face.


Okay Spring, I hope you are listening and ready to warm me up with some nice sunshine.  It's time.
